Originally from Michigan, Laura received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences in 2001 from Oakland University. Feeling the need for more direct patient care, she returned to school and entered the Physician Assistant Studies program at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. After receiving her Masters degree in 2006 she began work as a Hospitalist at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. After vacationing in Seattle she fell in love with the Northwest and eventually picked up and put down new roots in Seattle, joining Southlake Clinic as a Physician Assistant in 2009. She has spent much of her time overseeing patients in the hospital and has expanded care into the clinic.

Laura loves exploring the beautiful northwest with her husband and enjoys hiking, biking, art & craft projects, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
